I don’t know the buyer

She bought it because the course is useful to her

No one buys it

The order came from people I don’t know

They bought the product at the full price

Buy the right product for the right customers

I spent a lot of time filtering the people who might be the potential customers

But no result

When I kept publishing about the course

The customers came to my profile and click on to course

They bought it

So the customers choose you

Now the video english course was completed. My next steps:

Step 1 - Send it to the old Vietnamese Customers (20 people)

To compare the quality of my Vietnamese old Course and my English New Course

And then I can improve the English course

Step 2 - Send it to the Vietnamese high-profile people on Facebook (20 people)

The people are working in finance, fundraising, and entrepreneur

Will be the ideal customers

This step to help collect their feedback

And if the course is good enough for them to share with their friends

The quality could be good

Step 3 - Send it to high-profile people on Linkedin (20 people)

The people are more professional than on FB, Insta, TikTok

They will be the main customers in the future

On Linkedin, my course can approach a lot of foreigners

When your email noticed that you have the people who downloaded the courses

It’s a good beginning

Note 2 - Starting to Produce the Video Online Course

Step 1: Write and Translate all the documents

This is the essential part of this.

You will have to produce the script

You will have to produce the PowerPoint slide to pitch

You will have to produce the guide documents

I did it in Vietnamese, so I only needed to translate them into English

It still takes a lot of time

It takes around 8 hours to complete this

The content creators are always stuck in the step.

They are lazy and lack focus on producing the documents

And after months, their course is still in their head

Step 2: Record the Video Course

You will have to record the video to have the video online course

Normally, you can use Zoom -> Click New Meeting -> Click Share Screen -> Click '...' Button -> Click Record

And your face will stay at the end of the left corner.

The audience can focus on the slide and can look at you at the same time

I did this and it was very effective

Speak English for 1.5 hours to record the videos

It's very hard for me

It takes me a day to do that, compared with only 2 hours if I speak in Vietnamese

But the feeling is good when you are challenged the new thing

Step 3: Upload the Video

I uploaded all the Video into the 'Content Part' of the Gumroad Product Part

After 20 minutes, all the video was online

I add the guiding documents to each video

And click the "Publish" Button

When you complete your first english video course, you will feel full of energy and happy

Note 1 - Find a global e-commerce platform solution

When I decided to write in English, I must find a global e-commerce global platform solution.

So that I can practice selling our products

The product in this case is my video course “How to raise 100k - 3 mils USD for beginners in 1.5 hours of practice”

I have done the course before but in Vietnamese

Now, I will do it in English and distribute it to the new platform

After researching, Gumroad is a good e-commerce option to sell digital products

3 steps in moving to Gumroad:

Step 1: Read the guide

I read the guide on Gumroad about how to set up an account

How to list the digital product

The commission between Gumroad and the content creators

How to set up the automated email

How to open a Paypal Account to receive the global money

In the past, I wanted to open Stripe account, but it didn’t support Vietnam Market. (Paypal still more popular)

It takes me 2 days to reading

Step 2: Start Action

I opened a Gumroad Account

I opened a Paypal Account

I linked Gumroad to Paypal

I start to translate the Vietnamese Fundraising Documents into English

And schedule the day to re-record the video course

Step 3: Optimize the content

My old video course has a length of 6 hours

It includes a lot of contents

But I see that the students are lazy

They only want to want the video course < 2 hours

And they can apply immediately

So the important thing is optimizing the old video course to less than 2 hours

Still keep the same quality of information for the students

It’s hard, and it’s worthy
